Easily packed away in its fabric carrying case, the Yard Master Sport weighs only 4 pounds and includes a hand-rolled screen and telescoping tripod stand with linking hooks for the screen that pop out of the top and fold into position. The tripod also has a centerline ground spike to provide extra stability when the screen is used outdoors.
Setting up the Yard Master Sport as a freestanding screen is a simple matter of uncasing the screen, setting up and adjusting the height of the tripod — which can be staked when used outdoors — and unrolling the screen and attaching sliding rings to hooks on the stand.
The screen is available in a 57- or 96-inch (diagonal) 1:1 square format or a 110-inch 4:3 format with 1.0 gain matte-white screen material that has a wide 180° viewing angle to accommodate off-axis viewing. The screen is framed with a black masking border that enhances contrast and absorbs projector overshoot.
The material is ISF-certified for accurate color reproduction and GreenGuard Gold Certified, which means it meets strict chemical emission limits for safe use indoors.
Prices start at $75 and the screen is covered by a 2-year warranty.
