Perhaps that’s why LG decided to unveil its 2018 Black Friday Season promotion nearly two weeks before November 23. Why wait?
Yesterday, the company announced special pricing on eight models across its entire TV lineup, including a couple OLED TVs and a new 86-inch 4K/Ultra HD model marked down 44% to $2,500 — and those are just a few of the “dozens of TV models” LG is offering at the “best prices of the year.”
The eight TVs, available at reduced prices now through December 1, are as follows:
OLED C8 Series
All are HDR-enabled 4K OLED smart TVs featuring voice control and LG’s AI ThinQ technology.
55-inch OLED55C8, $1,700 ($2,500 list)
65-inch OLED65C8, $2,700 ($3,500 list)
77-inch OLED77C8, $7,000 ($9,000 list)
Super UHD SK9000 Series
Both models are HDR-enabled 4K LCD smart TVs featuring LG’s Nano Cell technology — which is said to expand color gamut and deliver deeper blacks — Google Assistant voice control, and LG’s AI ThinQ technology.
55-inch 55SK9000, $900 ($1,500 list)
65-inch 65SK9000, $1,300 ($2,200 list)
All of LG’s OLED and Super UHD models support the Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG high-dynamic range (HDR) formats, the latter two of which are bolstered by LG’s tone-mapping technology for “scene-by-scene optimization.”

All models are HDR-enabled 4K LCD smart TVs featuring Google Assistant voice control (with the optional LG Magic Remote) and LG’s AI ThinQ technology.
