The Push To Talk Box from Throne Room Pedals

Throne Room Pedals announces a redesign to its XLR microphone switch box, the Push To Talk Box. The new enclosure was designed in-house from the ground up and is CNC milled from a solid block of aluminum alloy.

The Push To Talk Box was designed as a way for musicians on stage or in the studio to communicate to their band or sound techs through in-ear monitors, or a control room.

When the switch is held down, a vocalist’s microphone is switched to a secondary talk back channel that can allow the band to hear in a separate channel without broadcasting through the venue. It’s suitable for live or studio use, on tour, or in a church environment.

Battle tested on international tours and in 24/7 live sound environments, the Push To Talk Box is a critical communication tool for any stage. It’s available in both momentary and latching versions, and has a street price of $149.
